Mr. Barron received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law
and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Legal Studies from the University of California

Mr. Barron's practice ranges from business formation, contract preparation and related
transactional services, to risk management and insurance review, to preparing and litigation
mechanic's lien and collection and payment issues, to landlord-tenant law and self-storage
facilities, to civil litigation, including arbitration, mediation, and trial. He has extensive civil litigation
experience handling first and third party personal injury, property damage and insurance coverage
claims, and specializes in defending developers, general contractors and specialty
subcontractors in hundreds of construction defect cases, public work, and contract/business
claims to date throughout California.
Mr. Barron is a member of the State Bar of California, the Contra Costa Bar Association, the
Solano County Bar Association, NOLO Approved Attorney, and the Northern California Association
of Defense Counsel.

Jeffery L. Borsuk - Of Counsel

Mr. Borsuk received his Juris Doctor in 1982 from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of
Law, and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honors from Bucknell University
in Pennsylvania. He has extensive civil litigation experience handling first and third party personal
injury, property damage and insurance coverage claims, and specializes in defending developers,
general contractors and specialty subcontractors in over 2,000 design and construction defect
cases to date throughout California and Montana. He also has special expertise as an Arbitrator
and Mediator. Mr. Borsuk routinely gives training seminars to the construction, legal and insurance
industries, relating to techniques for claim avoidance, industry and insurance trends, and early
resolution of claims. He is the general counsel to a number of national engineering firms,
developers and contractors advising them on contract preparation, insurance related matters, and
dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration and litigation.
Mr. Borsuk has extensive trial experience, and has appeared before many State and Appellate
Courts throughout the country, and has practiced before the California Supreme Court and the
United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the State Bars of California and Montana, the
San Francisco, Sacramento and Contra Costa Bar Associations, the Torts, Insurance and Property
Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association, the Northern California Fraud Investigation
Association (NCFIA) and the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel. He is also a
Professional member of the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), the Home
Builders Association of Northern California (HBANC), the California Building Industry Association,
and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Mr. Borsuk has served as a
court-appointed Arbitrator for the Contra Costa County Superior Court since 1986. He also
currently acts as a Judge Pro Tem for the Contra Costa County Superior Court.
